Had a good gym workout on Thursday before hitting the beach.
A crosstown walk on Friday and hit tennis balls on Saturday before going to Fordham's big win over Villanova 27-24!!
The dream lives.

August 30th

After 3 days of meetings at school, I was up and down the stairs abit, I got back to the gym for a good workout.  School starts next Tuesday so I will remain active this weekend and next week.  I was told I lost weight and look good so I hope this is working.  Going to doctor later for check on leg.

August 18th Fitness Dream

Have finished week one in the Poconos.  Completed two gym workouts, swimming, several long bike rides and two sessions of tennis.  On Saturday came back to the city for a doubleheader, we won semifinal, lost championship by 2 runs.  Played both games at shortstop, alot of fun.  Heading back up to Poconos on Sunday and will continue with swimming, maybe golf, gym and tennis and some relax reading time.  Summer has been great and I feel rejuvenated and on a good path to what works for me and fitness.  I have two great daughters and great family.

August 9th

Got to the gym today and varied my workout, started with bike, them elliptical then weights, stretching.  Met up with old friend T at gym.  Z recommended that I seek out yoga class near me for posture and try the bullett for juicing.  Good ideas. I also think I should get some personal training sessions.
Head for Poconos and more exercise.

August 8

Hi All,
I haven't blogged for a while because Kelly and I were cruising in the Bahamas.  A quick update on workout and fitness dream.  Got a good report from my annual physical on Monday.  Good Cholesterol is up and everything else looks good.  My weight was about same even after all the food on the cruise.  Kelly and I worked out several times on cruise and took stairs most of the time. I also pushed my father in law in a wheelchair at Universal Studios. A good workout.  Since I have been home played two games in doubleheader, won both.  Did a tennis workout yesterday and planning on gym today or tomorrow.
I am realizing that my dream is to vary workouts and stay active.  Also watch what I eat.

July 24

Felt tight in my neck from Tuesdays workout so just did some stretching today.  Plan on some tennis workout for Thursday.  Looking forward to cruise on Saturday!!!

On Sunday, after staying up most of the night trying to help Kristin get home from Prague, I did a stretch and walk from 20th and 1st to 11th and 6th and back.  Today Monday July 22nd I went to the gym and did core, elliptical workout, weights and bike a good 45 to 50 minutes.  This afternoon we are talking Poppi to the doctor.
Kristin had a good trip and Ryan drove out to Queens to see her. Grandma and Poppi liked him.
